Overview

Office Head - Chartered Surveying Consultancy Chartered Surveying Consultancy who aim to deliver the most innovative and customer focused surveying and consultancy services. To continue this growth they are looking to appoint an Office Head to Identify, develop and plan the implementation of the regional office and divisional business strategy to achieve stated targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality and culture. Taking an active role in driving business development and growth, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of building surveying disciplines in a commercial environment. Key points of the role as set out by the client Identify, develop and plan the implementation of the office and business strategy to achieve stated targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality and culture. Recruit, select and develop office or divisional team members. Direct functions and performance via the office or divisional team members. Maintain and develop organisational culture, values and reputation in the regional or divisional markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies. Ensure work is cascaded down the appropriate reporting line Manage employee's by addressing performance related issues, creating career development paths and training Report to executive board on monthly basis on regional/divisional organisational plans and performance. Provide professional building surveying duties including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, maintenance and refurbishment projects, schedules of condition, party wall awards etc. Play an instrumental role in winning new work and developing business opportunities. Develop and maintain client relationships providing a premier service to win new and repeat business across the whole range of commercial and building surveying service. Contribute to a team environment ensuring everyone is committed to service delivery and client satisfaction. Advise and guide colleagues to ensure targets are achieved. Develop relevant knowledge and skills through regular CPD activities and maintain an up-to-date awareness of all legislation affecting the technical aspects of building surveying, sharing knowledge and information where appropriate. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development. Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner, for example timesheets, expenses, database applications etc. Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management. This is indicative of the role, however, there will be other duties and responsibilities that you may be required to undertake from time to time.
