Overview
The Organisation Financial Accountant required for a complex organisation in North Yorkshire. The Financial Accountant will support the Head of Finance on a 6 month basis in the production of final statutory accounts. The Role The Financial Accountant will be responsible for: Capital accounting. Pension fund accounting. Supporting the production and monitoring of the Annual Budget and Medium-Term Financial Plan. Supporting the year-end preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts. Managing the audit process and liaising with external personnel. Overseeing the production of regulatory compliance returns, maintaining the asset register and cashflow forecasting. The Person The Financial Accountant will be a Qualified Accountant or have significant experience in the production of financial accounts. A clear understanding of IFRS knowledge would be advantageous. Ideally you will be experienced in preparing statutory financial statements from a public sector organisation but private sector will not be discounted. You will have advanced excel experience.
