Overview
Are you looking for a chance to build large scale products in React GraphQL? Do you want a team to support your development with options to grow that suit you? If so, then we have the role for you. Since start in 2015, this team have built a Global Marketplace for the design industry helping suppliers and makers in over 80 countries sell their products to buyers in over 60. Operating almost entirely under their own steam with a profit making product they have recently taken a Series A investment of £8m from some of the UK and US's best Venture Capital firms to und growth in their technology team. To support this, we're currently hiring a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join one of their two cross functional development squads alongside a Product Manager, Product Designer and 4 existing engineers. As well as delivering on a significant roadmap for their existing Marketplace product they are creating a new end-to-end Project Management tool for the design industry and embarking on a platform wide adoption of GraphQL making this a very exciting time to join the team. We appreciate the current climate is challenging. To overcome these challenges we're switching to a fully remote interview process (2 stage) and remote day-to-day working to minimise risk to all involved whilst ensuring we can keep things moving forward :) What are they looking for from a Senior JavaScript Engineer? Experience creating large scale SPA's in any framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte etc.) Comfortable tackling complex problems related to state management and asynchronous data Quality first approach to engineer with experience handling your own testing Most productive in a mature Agile team where engineers are supported to take decisions about both the tooling and approach to building products What are they offering a Senior JavaScript Engineer in return?
