Overview
My client is an established, successful business part of a global group. Due to continued development they currently seek a Senior Financial Accountant to work as a key part of the group finance team. Working closely with the Director you will be responsible for producing monthly and annual reporting requirements, review financial performance for individual entities and consolidating this information for the parent group. You will be the go to person for technical finance queries. Responsibilities will include: Create initial consolidated reporting for review by the Group CFO. Running monthly reports in conjunction with Group Accountant Consolidation adjustments and group reserves reconciliations Supporting the production of balances sheet and cash flow Fielding technical queries from entities Holding Company Accounting: Take over monthly accounting for some of our Holding companies Production of holding company impairment reviews for review of the Group Accounting Director Play a key role in the Year-end reporting process Liaise with group audit function to support annual audits. Preparation of audit schedules for primary financial statements and disclosure notes Supporting the preparation of full IFRS group consolidated financial statements, including primary statements and all disclosure notes Budgets and Forecasts: Supporting Group Finance Team in preparing and executing the budget and forecast processes Writing, reviewing and updating Group Accounting Policies and supporting the implementation of new IFRS policies. This is a pivotal role which would suit a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) ideally with post qualification experience and experience gained in Industry. The role requires experience of group consolidations and a strong technical finance understanding.
