Overview
Electrical Technician (Workshop/Service & Repair) Avonmouth £20,000 to £22,000 Overtime (time and a half) 20 Days Holidays Bank Holidays Pension. 45 hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Electrical Technician position available in a well established supplier of electrical and electronic machines. In this workshop based role there is lots of potential for self development and the work/ machinery is extremely varied. To apply for the Electrical Technician role, you will have experience in an electrical based position, fault finding in single phase and wiring, from ANY service/repair background. Those coming from vending machine, lift equipment or amusement/ gaming machinery service are encouraged to apply as are domestic and commercial electricians. The Electrical Technician role will be to maintain, service and repair a variety of electronic and electrical machines including both new and second hand equipment. These machines are all powered by domestic single phase. In this varied role you will also take part in any machinery maintenance as needed e.g. woodworking/ painting in order to get the products back into market. The company are the largest distributor of these products in Europe and so this is a new permanent role due to an increase in orders and company expansion. You will be working in a small team of 11 engineers from the company’s headquarters based in Bristol. The Role: Maintain a wide variety of electrical and electronic machinery. Refurbishment and service of 2nd hand products. Workshop based role. The Person: Experience working with single phase. Experience working with small intricate wiring. Looking for a varied role.
