Overview
SAN Engineer - NetApp One of our clients has a requirement for an experienced SAN Engineer to take responsibility for capacity planning, product lifecycles, platform optimisation. You shall be working alongside Infrastructure Architects to ensure that storage needs are catered for as part of any new implementation. You will ensure that the SAN’s are effectively monitored and take responsibility for ensuring that data is solidly backed up using industry-leading technologies such as Zerto and Veeam. Skills required: Ideally NetApp Certified Strong storage design and management skills Hands-on experience of administering and troubleshooting NetApp, Compellent and Tegile Storage platforms. Analysis and review of existing enterprise backup solutions (Zerto/Veeam) Review technical disaster recovery plans Ability to create run books Having strong interpersonal and communications skills are essential for this requirement as well as being able to work within a team environment.
