Overview
We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join the finance team of a rapidly growing technology company in their Stevenage office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is looking for a progressive career in finance, whilst studying for a professional qualification ( ACCA/CIMA ), where you will get a wide amount of exposure to month end reporting and analysis. Responsibilities for the role include: Month end reporting including variance analysis, reviewing the fixed asset register Prepayment and accrual journals Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Getting involved with process improvement projects and implementations The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience working within a finance department, and will also have either a degree in a finance related subject, or an AAT qualification.
