Up to £56,000 per annum (equates to NHS Band 8) | 40 hours | Days | Elderly & Dementia Home | Management Experience Essential | An experienced RGN or RMN Registered Nurse with experience managing a UK nursing home is required to lead and develop a leading Reigate care home. The home offers elderly and dementia care in a modern setting, with a strong team already in place. Details of this Nursing Home Manager position and what the home is offering: • A permanent, full-time contract of 40 hours per week • Usual working hours will be 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required for occasional weekends and on-call duties etc due to the seniority of the role • A great annual salary of up to £56,000, which is equivalent to NHS Band 8 rates of pay • The salary package is open to negotiation in relation to pay enhancements and performance-based bonuses As Nursing Home Manager, you will coordinate and oversee the day to day running of the home, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service that doesn’t compromise on quality of care or life. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the clinical and non-clinical teams in addition to managing budgets and resources. What the home is looking for in a Nursing Home Manager: • NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN and ideally have completed a recognised management qualification such as Diploma Level 5 • Demonstrate proven experience in the management of a UK nursing home evidenced through an employment history of managing fully CQC compliant services • A strong leader and able to motivate, lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a UK nursing home • Financially aware and able to manage and adhere to budgets If you are interested and would like more information, please call James Grice at SYK Recruitment now on 020 3963 0363.
