Overview
New 4 month contract opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified Senior Management Accountant based in Slough. This role is available on a PAYE basis only. The Senior Management Accountant role is a key position within the finance function of this FTSE 100 company and is responsible for several core finance and holding companies. In addition, the preparation of high-quality Statutory Accounts under FRS101 and FRS102 is a key deliverable. The group regularly undertakes internal and external transactions impacting the finance and holding companies. The Senior Management Accountant will be pivotal in processing these transactions in addition to business partnering with other functions across the Group. Strong communication skills are important, as he/she will be dealing regularly with Senior Management cross functionally. The key areas of accountability are as follows: Management Accounting Ensure high quality management accounts are submitted to group meeting corporate deadlines. Liaise with finance departments globally to ensure intercompany balances are aligned. Work with other teams to process capital transactions. Statutory Account Preparation Prepare the statutory accounts for various HQ companies. Work with the auditors to resolve any audit queries as required. Essential Skills The position is suitable for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant. Solid and sound understanding of double entry bookkeeping and debits and credits HFM experience would be desirable
