Overview
AL Solutions are partnering with a small sized full service, award winning Oncology focused CRO that are in the the process of rapidly expanding their data management team across the UK & Europe. As a result, we are looking to hire a Senior Data Manager to assist them with their continued growth of their senior leadership team. The Senior Data Manager will act as the lead for assigned studies, being responsible for all aspects of clinical trial Data Management procedures. You will also act as the main point of contact for internal and external clients and will be responsible for attending and presenting at face-to-face meetings. Responsibilities: Performs and oversees Data Management tasks in studies using EDC or paper CRFs. Data Management point of contact for allocated studies. Providing support in the management of the Data Management team. Provides mentoring to junior colleagues. Codes CRF/eCRF data using industry dictionaries. Prepares Data Management documentation for allocated studies, including Data Management Plans, eCRF User Guides and Data Transfer Plans. Specifies and validates the electronic data validation checks that are to be performed on allocated studies. Performs database lock procedures. Attends study team meetings throughout the life of the study to proactively communicate issues that may affect the Data Management of the study. Liaises with internal and external suppliers for receipt of electronic data Experience required: Minimum 5 year’s relevant data management experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a clinical research organisation Experience leading studies using EDC databases Experience in a Lead Data Manager role Excellent knowledge of data management of EDC studies including start-up, maintenance, and close-out activities Sponsor presentations including Kick of Meetings or Investigator Meetings Excellent organisation and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Pro-activity and risk management skills Apply AL Solutions are a niche Life Science recruitment consultancy.
