Production Area Manager
Overview
Due to continued growth my client has an exciting opportunity for a Nights Production Area Manager. With a 1.4 billion turnover and numerous sites across the UK , you will be based at their site in North Yorkshire. You will assist the Factory Manager in managing the production and staff within the production operation. This position is responsible for multi-skilled, multi-disciplined teams operating in a fast paced environment and as such communication and organisation is vital. You will be responsible for the delivery of best quality product and satisfying customer service requirements, creating and promoting a proactive health & Safety, liaising with the Factory Manager to identify the correct levels of resources and manage the operation within these agreed parameters, develop manufacturing process through delivery of cost savings, efficiency, quality, GMP improvements, be able to Identify improvement opportunities within the production environment and proactively address them. Ideally you will have previous supervisory experience ideally within a high risk/low risk food operation, knowledge of Health & Safety standards & knowledge of food quality standards, strong leadership and motivational skills, be able to prioritise, manage deadlines and make decisions and have the ability to lead and develop a team.
