Due to year on year growth, our client are seeking an integral and customer focused Buyer to join their talented Supply Chain Department. What’s on offer…. You will receive a competitive starting salary of up to c£27,000, annual bonus, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, enhanced company sick pay and plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and progress up the career ladder What the role involves…. Manage the supplier quality, cost and timely delivery in-line with company strategy and requirements Assist with the development of the company supply base Help to maintain records and documentation in-line with process control procedure Liaise frequently with the Finance, Engineering, HSEQ, Supply Chain and Projects Teams to support the business strategy and maintain close communication throughout Develop key business relationships with clients, key stakeholders, suppliers and contractors Help to develop and implement process improvements and LEAN methodologies principles Deal with any buying/supply chain related issues by coming up with effective solutions Maintain up to date knowledge of technical products within specified markets and push for continued investment in product innovation What is our client looking for from you….
