Overview
The Role Phoenix Raven Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Retail Buyer on behalf of our fabulous client based in South Nottinghamshire The role will be to buy in retail products from UK based suppliers, negotiate pricing, forecast future stock, order immediate stock requests/special orders, watch out for competitor retail prices to ensure current and future products are purchased at the right price for sale, using spreadsheets and in-house systems to calculate stock, communicate with goods in and warehouse management to ensure stock levels are up-to-date and replenished accurately. The role requires an ideally immediate start and is working Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm. The role is permanent. Your Profile In order to be considered for this position you must consider yourself as a savvy, bright, enthusiastic candidate with ideally a background within sales, you must also have a background within retail , even if it is on the shop floor - it is very important to our client that you understand the needs of the sales team and how the retail system works . You will be a fantastic negotiator, quick thinking, analytical and a fantastic eye for detail. Personality is also key, you must have a sense of humour and an outgoing individual.
