Product Training Manager – Home Décor Manufacturer THE CLIENT Working on behalf of a global manufacturer that produces beautiful ranges of market-leading products for the home, we are seeking a Product Training Manager to head up and manage all product training for the UK sales operation. This is a business that has enjoyed significant UK investment and growth over the last 5 years. A market-leader in their field, instantly recognisable with their sector and with a loyal and longstanding trade customer base. THE ROLE As part of investment in their UK sales & distribution operation, this is a newly created role that will see manage all aspects of products training. Day-to-day you can expect to be involved in training sales staff and their trade customers on new and innovative products, you’ll develop, manage and deliver training seminars in a brand-new purpose build training facility and work with the marketing department on the design and development of training materials and installation instructions for the various items within the product range. You’ll keep up-to-date on new products as they lunch and ensure a full understanding of these so that you can train internal and field based sales people on their usage and selling points to their customers. This is an exciting and varied role that ensures no two days are the same and an opportunity to carve out a career for yourself as the go-to- person for all things training. THE CANDIDATE It is essential that you have been involved in a product training role before. We are looking for someone who has carried out a similar role for a manufacturer (in any segment) with the skills, maturity and gravitas to fully take ownership of this role and be seen as a credible source of training and development.
