Overview
Morson International are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Widnes. We are looking for an experienced Fitter/Wireman. applicants will be required to strip down and then re assemble power cases for the rolling stock industry, the work will be a mixture of mechanical bench work with some electrical crimping and re installation of wiring looms. Previous experience of overhaul on contacts and switchgear is desirable. Working on days initially but may move to earlies and lates depending on the needs of the business, based on a working week of 37 hours, with overtime offered for any hours worked over 37 each week. Applicants need to be qualified to city and guild level 2 or 3 or equivalent and ideally be time served, applicants must be able to produce their training certificates before starting. All applicants must pass a drug and alcohol screening prior to starting work. Previous experience in the Rail industry would be beneficial. This is a 12-month contract with the potential of extending beyond 12 months. £19.81 per hour.
