PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES As our Production Engineer, you will need to be a self-starter, have willingness to learn and take on a challenge, be hard working and passionate about doing a great job. You will have come from an engineering environment, preferably in electronics and must have significant technical and manufacturing knowledge and experience. Displaydata is going through a period of rapid growth and the role will ensure that the business’s production meets the expanding needs of the business and our Customers. This role is varied and will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities: Ability to provide input throughout the product design life cycle – Production/mechanical/electronic/DFM Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Teamworking skills – Ability to interact with all engineering functions and operations. Ability to work independently, flexibly and on their own initiative. Willingness to travel. PERSON SPECIFICATION As well as the above, you will also need the following knowledge and experience: Proven Background in planning, managing and delivering NPIs Experience with a PDM tool – creating BOMs and component approval cycles Basic SW knowledge- Experience with large Database TSQL knowledge and writing windows batch scripts. Experience in High volume Production – Continuous Improvement and Quality Ability to communicate with EMS – provide engineering/production knowledge and support F ault diagnosis – problem-solving skills You should also be able to Be hands on and prepared to personally input and manipulate data Work under pressure B e organised Work within a team independently and part of a team P ossess high attention to detail Have good interpersonal and communication skills As well as the above, it would be advantageous for you to have the following knowledge and experience… Experience with Windchill product data management system Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing qualifications Here at Displaydata our people are our greatest asset, which is why we offer a great compensation package.
