Production Engineer (Electronics) Salary £40k fantastic benefits package Do you come from an Engineering environment, preferably in Electronics with significant technical and manufacturing knowledge and experience? As a Production Engineer, you will need to be a self-starter, have willingness to learn and take on a challenge, be hard working and passionate about doing a great job. The company is going through a period of rapid growth and the role will ensure that the business’s production meets the expanding needs of the business and our Customers. This role is varied and will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities: · Ability to provide input throughout the product design life cycle – Production/mechanical/electronic/DFM · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. · Teamworking skills – Ability to interact with all engineering functions and operations. · Ability to work independently, flexibly and on their own initiative. · Willingness to travel. Person Specification · Proven Background in planning, managing and delivering NPIs · Experience with a PDM tool – creating BOMs and component approval cycles · Basic SW knowledge- Experience with large Database TSQL knowledge and writing windows batch scripts. · Experience in High volume Production – Continuous Improvement and Quality · Ability to communicate with EMS – provide engineering/production knowledge and support · Fault diagnosis – problem-solving skills You should be able to · Be hands on and prepared to personally input and manipulate data · Work under pressure · Be organised · Work within a team independently and part of a team · Possess high attention to detail · Have good interpersonal and communication skills Any experience with Windchill product data management system and Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous
