Production Engineer

This role is varied and will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities: · Ability to provide input throughout the product design life cycle – Production/mechanical/electronic/DFM · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. · Teamworking skills – Ability to interact with all engineering functions and operations. · Ability to work independently, flexibly and on their own initiative. · Willingness to travel. Person Specification · Proven Background in planning, managing and delivering NPIs · Experience with a PDM tool – creating BOMs and component approval cycles · Basic SW knowledge- Experience with large Database TSQL knowledge and writing windows batch scripts. · Experience in High volume Production – Continuous Improvement and Quality · Ability to communicate with EMS – provide engineering/production knowledge and support · Fault diagnosis – problem-solving skills You should be able to · Be hands on and prepared to personally input and manipulate data · Work under pressure · Be organised · Work within a team independently and part of a team · Possess high attention to detail · Have good interpersonal and communication skills Any experience with Windchill product data management system and Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous
