Gas / Heating Maintenance Manager - Nottingham Based Housing Association - £34- £38k salary van benefits Your new company Opportunity for a Gas / Heating Manager to join one of the largest locally-based housing groups in the East Midlands. They manage over 9,500 homes and house more than 20,000 tenants across the East Midlands. Your new role Manage a team of engineers to carry out emergency, urgent, routine, planned and cyclical jobs for domestic gas / heating. Management of related servicing, repairs and installations as required all properties Carry out post inspections on any heating installations carried out by the in house team or external contractors and provide reports as required. Carry out and record health and safety checks on internal and external contractors Manage the out of hours standby rota for your team Carry out van stock and vehicle checks Assist with the management of procurement of tools and materials for the team What you'll need to succeed Extensive, demonstrable post qualification experience in domestic gas / heating NVQ or equivalent qualification in plumbing and heating Core Domestic Gas Safety - CCN1- CPA1 Certificate of Competence (compulsory) Current ACS accreditation in: Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters - CENWAT, Cookers - CKR1, Gas Fires - HTR1, Meters - MET1, Warm Air Heaters - DAH1 Demonstrable recent experience of managing a team including carrying out performance management Demonstrable success in the delivery of a variable workload in a customer focused environment and working in a target driven service Understanding and experience of working to current Health and Safety and current legislation requirements Full valid driving licence What you'll get in return Salary £34,608 - £38,822pa.
