Estimator opportunity based in Cambridge for a main contractor Your new company Your new company are tier 1 main contractor who are looking for an Estimator to join their existing Estimating team in Cambridge Your new role You will be helping to prepare the compilation of tenders to help add to their portfolio on project wins. You need to comply with the estimating process, attend pre-tender interviews and post tender presentations as well as work with the pre-construction team to prepare material in the agreed format for the client. What you'll need to succeed Preparation of accurate quotations for submissions to clients. Background in estimating preferably from a main contractor background. Previous experience in tendering for large and special projects. Following up enquiries and negotiating costings and budgets. Attending pre and post tender meetings and ensuring the companies professional image is maintained.
