Your new role You will join the mechanical team of a busy MEP design office. You will design and specify mechanical systems in buildings, typically in the commercial and residential sectors, most projects offering a technical or creative challenge to solve. You will be supported by experienced directors, but you will be given ownership of your own work. Projects are often local to London and you will have the chance to visit site for initial surveys, monitoring through the construction process until completion. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience working as a mechanical designer in building services, from a consultancy setting or similar. You will have an understanding of a wide array of different mechanical systems, and be confident in their application in residential and commercial buildings. You will interested in creatively solving engineering challenges, and be interested in the technical detail of your work. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to represent a growing brand that has built a reputation for engineering excellence.
