Senior Legal Counsel - Publishing
Overview
An exciting position has arisen to join the legal team of this well-known publishing house. Responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts; advising on publishing, defamation and media law matters both domestically and internationally; working directly with the business, providing objective analysis of risks that relate to commercial and consumer law, copyright and other intellectual property matters and to provide solutions to satisfy legal and business requirements. The successful applicant will have between 5 to 10 years' experience in private practice with a general commercial background, with media and publishing exposure. You will have experience of advising on intellectual property matters especially copyright and licensing. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
