Overview
Our client, a full-service international law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate/Senior Associate to join their highly regarded IP team based in Birmingham. This role will provide the opportunity to work with what the Legal 500 describe as one of the leading players in Intellectual Property and will be rewarded by a top of the market salary, bonus and benefits package. About the role This firm's Birmingham IP team is highly rated in the directories and act for an enviable client base. The team undertake both domestic and international work and undertake a range of work including enforcement strategies and clearance of brands, advertising and designs. The team undertake a mix of work and this role would be focussed on tech-focussed patent litigation. About the person The successful IP Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience gained at a well-respected City or National firm. This does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying for this role. SEP FRAND patent litigation experience would be an advantage but is not essential. The Intellectual Solicitor/Associate's desired skills include: Excellent academic record; A keen eye for detail; An aptitude and enthusiasm for technical subject matter cases; A team player; and Commercial awareness The hiring firm is a highly regarded international practice that continues to act as one of the leading progressive firms in Birmingham. This firm promote introduced agile working so are happy to consider part time working, working from home or staggered hours. Working hours are 9:30am-5:30pm.
