Overview

We are delighted to be working on behalf of this local accounting firm who are seeking to appoint a Pensions Administrator to their offices in Newcastle. Bringing to the role previous experience working in pension administration and preferably some knowledge or understanding of payroll you will be responsible for the management of client engagement processes for new clients, undertaking Anti-Money Laundering Checks. Your role will see you gathering information from clients and their employers and ensuring complete accuracy. Regular contact with your clients to keep them up to date on progress is important as is the conversations you hold internally with both tax and accounts departments to ensure their details are accurate on file. You will also be involved in the preparation and issuing of invoices to clients in conjunction with the Pensions Manager and Finance team. Liaising with finance to ensure the client invoices are paid. Other weekly tasks will include telephone calls, scanning, pension post, creation of templates on and preparing reports for clients with regards to their pensions. We are looking for an individual with proven organisation skills, strong attention to detail, competent with Microsoft Office and has a pleasant, friendy nature. You must have an understanding of pension schemes in order to be considered for this role, payroll knowledge would be a bonus.
