PHP Developer - Symfony, MySQL, JavaScript, Git - Manchester City Centre - Salary up to £46,000 plus benefits including annual bonus The Role We are looking for an individual to get stuck in creating a major Greenfield project with PHP, Symfony and Javascript for a well known business based right in the heart of Manchester central. The project will give you a lot of autonomy to redesign the current existing website which is built in Symfony 1 and update this to the latest version. The ideal candidate will have worked in a fast paced environment and have excellent communication skills and be adaptable working in a large team. The Company Employees at this particular business have stayed within the company for over 10 years They generally enjoy working in this industry and love the after hours socials to Any experience with these following technologies would be ideal: Experience working with modern, OOP, PHP Composer Knowledge of MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Zend, etc) - Symfony experience being a huge plus. Experience working with RDBMS such as MySQL/Postgres Strong knowledge of Git Experience working with CI/CD technologies Experience with TDD Knowledge of Linux Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or GCP Experience with docker/kubernetes Any experience in NodeJS and with modern JS tooling and frameworks Interviews will be starting this Wednesday so submit your CV asap. £500 worth of referral fees will be given to any successful recommendations.
