Welfare Benefit Officer 35 Hours per week Salary Range £29,442 to £31,207 per annum Essential Car Allowance Office Base - Stockton or Barnard Castle COVID 19 You will be a key member of the housing team and work alongside one other, very experienced Welfare Benefit Officer. We will tailor an induction to enable you to join the organisation, and settle in, during these extraordinary times. We are ensuring that we remain connected during this period and you will check in with your manager and co-worker daily and your team once a week. During the current, national restrictions, we will need you to deliver a full service from your home. We will provide you with the equipment needed to deliver this. What is North Star? We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have an excellent knowledge of the in work and out of work Benefit System. You will work with the Housing Team to effectively manage the roll-out of Universal Credit by providing advice, support and guidance to our customers for all Welfare Benefits. Experience of the income maximisation and the benefit appeals process would be advantageous. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to contribute to a high performing team and have a good understanding of partnerships and will be able to develop strong working relationships.
