Application Security Engineer/AppSec Engineer - London - Permanent Outsource UK's Cyber team are looking for an Applications Security Engineer to work for an organisation that has doubled in size in the last 12 months and offer a fast paced, exciting environment where you can have a real impact. They have won multiple awards including an award for their use of technology. You would be responsible for taking the clients security processes to the next level and for security their product, this includes our backend systems, web platform and mobile applications. Some of the things you'll be doing will include Performing application security design, threat modelling and code reviews. Acting as a security architecture advocate to help software engineers build secure products and services, improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes. If fast paced environments, cross team exposure, inquisitive freedom and the ability to have a real impact on a rapidly growing scale up appeals to you, then this could be the role for you Ideal Experience: Software engineering experience A knack for finding flaws in software and can effectively communicate how to fix them The ability to think like an attacker and use that context to develop threat models Enable other engineering teams to find flaws before they are introduced into production Deep technical knowledge in one of the following: cloud security, web application security, mobile security Strong knowledge of secure coding best practices Hands-on attitude and the ability to drive solutions to completion Experience with OWASP frameworks, static & dynamic analysis, and common exploitation methods Please visit our website www.outsource-uk.co.uk This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89963784
