NLP Scientist - Insurance - London £90k Are you a Data Scientist experienced within the NLP area? Would you like to apply your work to the vast amounts of unstructured data coming from the insurance sector? Who are we? We've been insuring businesses for over 130 years and we're now looking to disrupt the industry by leveraging machine learning and data science to enhance the statistical modelling that has been at the core of the insurance sector for decades. What will I do? We're taking on some challenging problems using including Cat modelling to predict losses due to disasters using historical data, from natural disasters, fraud detection using NLP and loss prediction using demographic data. Who will I work with? You will be joining our R&D team based in the City of London who are an autonomous team with the backing of our established business. It's a very flat structure with a lot of collaboration with the team of close to twenty (and growing) Data Scientists, Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers. I should apply if …. I have a Degree in Data Science, Mathematics or related field I've worked as a Data Scientist for at least 2 years I have worked with NLP (NLTK, Gensim, LSTM, Neural Network, Deep Learning, Word2Vec, SpaCy etc) I have developed Machine Learning models using Python What will I receive?
