Head Chef We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for a busy family dining pub near Reading.You will be an integral part of the management team. Leading a brigade of up to 11 chef and KPs you will lead from the front maintaining the highest of food quality and consistency. The Place A food led pub, part of a small pub company, established nearly 20 years ago with a great reputation in the local area. Offering excellent food, drinks and service. The Perks As Head Chef you will get the following Salary of up to £32,000 basic Total Package of £35,000 Excellent training and progression Staff Discount Good work life balance 48 hr week- 2 days off The Person The Ideal Head Chef will have the following: Previous experience as a Head Chef, ideally in a premium pub Great people management skills with a focus on training and development High standards of food hygiene and H&S Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients Thorough knowledge of stock, GP and labour control As the pub is located in a rural area on the outskirts of Reading, having your own reliable transport will be essential All candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid work permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
