Overview
Long Sutton Golf and Country Club is under new ownership and has high aspirations to provide a high-quality offering to members and visitors alike. The Club House offers an excellent restaurant and bar service. In addition, the clubhouse has conference rooms of various sizes. The main function room is a superb venue forconferences, wedding receptions, social functions, and parties. We are looking for an experienced all-rounder Sous Chef with aspirations to becoming a head chef or an experienced head chef who has the culinary expertise, motivation and talent to help us to take the bar and restaurant facilities to the next level and help us build upon our success and great reputation. The salary will be competitive and will be commensurate with your experience (£30,000 - £40,000). There may be an opportunity to take up residence at the Golf Club in a two-bedroom apartment which will be available to the successful candidate. We are looking for a team player, who is highly motivated with excellent communications skills and able to deliver high quality food. Our team has experience in abundance and are willing to share their expertise, develop others and pass on their knowledge. This is a great opportunity for a person who shows initiative and self-motivation as well as being prepared to be an innovative and creative thinker. Our Menu offers great value for money and we all looking to create more imaginative dishes that will wet appetites as well as be consistently high quality. Whilst we concentrate on the traditional British favourites, we also have a desire to do something different. The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly with the team, participate in generating good ideas and ensure we maintain high standards.
