Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join a well known and well established Group of Companies based on the outskirts of Kendal. Reporting to an engaging and talented Finance Director you will be part of a small team who are committed to providing support to the wider business. As Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following : Ownership of the month end process, including preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and control, and detailed variance analysis Production of monthly financial performance reports for executive review and for quarterly Board reporting Bank and cash management, including short-term and long range cash forecasting and balance optimization Preparation of the year-end audit files and key point of contact for external auditors Support the continuing professional development of other junior members of the Group finance teamCustomer numbers & demand modelling This opportunity will be a real opportunity for a Newly Qualified Management Accountant to develop and grow therefore the it is expected that the successful candidate will have superb communication skills and be very much a self starter. Advanced Excel skills would also be an advantage as would experience of Navision. 25 days holiday (bank holidays), enhanced pension contribution and onsite parking are all included in the package.
