Overview
A 12-month FTC Analyst opportunity, focusing on budgeting and reporting within the Operational Finance team. Your new company This globally recognised company is famous for its exploration and production of energy sources. Its headquarters are based within Edinburgh but they work on a global scale with offices worldwide. Due to a secondment coming to an end, an Analyst on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract is required. Your new role You will be working within the Operational Finance team as an Analyst to produce budgeting, reporting and analytical support for all agreed corporate departments, corporate projects, operated and non-operated assets and any required consolidated views on a corporate/regional basis. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience and knowledge of budget processes on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis will be crucial to your success. You will have a good understanding of variances to be able to explain and communicate this information to relevant internal and external stakeholders. You will be expected to conduct monthly headcount reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies, so experience in this would be desirable. This role also requires the ability to review, implement and develop financial systems, specifically using Unit4 currently and moving towards PowerBI, so any relevant experience with these would be desired.
