Overview
Our client is located very close to the M62 motorway network and ideal for travelling from Bradford, Leeds , Brighouse, Halifax, and surrounding areas. They are an expanding organisation offering an in-house repair service to an array of end user clients where they re-manufacture machine parts from drawings,samples or designs and machining parts quickly to minimise clients machinery downtime. Due to expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced and apprentice trained CNC Miller programmer, setter operator for small batch work and one offs. Working day shift with plenty of overtime taking your earnings to circa £50,000 per annum. Time served CNC Miller. Candidate must be able to programme from scratch using Haas machines/G code. Experience programming Haas machines, setting up programming & operating CNC milling centres. Positive attitude, attention to detail, problem-solving, organised, punctual, safety conscious. Set up tools and load materials onto CNC machine. Carry out machining of components. working to tight tolerances with a wide range of materials including mild steel, stainless, aluminium, brass, tool steel etc Able to use a variety of measuring equipment. Able to work under own initiative to samples and Engineering Drawings. Use of CAD Cam would be advantageous but not essential. Competitive hourly rate negotiable on experience £14 - £16 per hour plus shift allowance with overtime readily available.
