Working within their state of the art offices in the centre of Cheltenham (some home / flexible working could be available for the right candidate), your role will involve processing UK payrolls in a compliant and timely manner, planning and developing payroll processes, ensuring all source documents are retained in line with guidelines and checking that all payroll systems satisfy internal and external reporting requirements. This Senior Payroll Officer position will be reporting to a Payroll Operations Manager and will also involve liaising with external businesses, including HMRC, by telephone and email as well as liaising with various stakeholders. You will be able to build rapport easily and be confident dealing with Senior Managers and Directors within the business. Additionally, we are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking to hear from experienced Payroll candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of concepts, best practices and procedures. You will have extensive end to end Payroll knowledge and have worked on large Payrolls and a variety of Payroll systems. The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally is essential, as well as a proactive and efficient approach.
