Overview
My client is looking to hire an experienced Software Engineer (Ruby) to come and join a newly formed team as a key team player. You will be expected to drive the team's working practices, positively influence team dynamics and consistently deliver whilst developing excellent quality software and championing agile practices such as pair programming, TDD/BDD, continuous integration and continuous delivery. As part of the project, you will be working with Ruby deployment tooling to support multi-region AWS deployments, staggered releases and rollbacks. The essentials skills/experience you will need for this contract are: Ruby - 5 years AWS (Amazon web services) Javascript (react/redux) (Desired) TDD (Test Driven Development) Microservice architecture Experience in a fast paced start up / scale up environment Polyglot mindset This is a great chance to get involved in a company that are one of the UK's most famous and successful scale ups with an equally impressive platform.
