A fast-growing online media agency in Bath is looking for a Wordpress Developer to join their team. Due to the success of their technology they have a prestigious list of clients within the games industry. You will be joining the team responsible for in-house websites so this role is ideal for someone who is experienced in Wordpress and is happy to help mentor more junior developers. What skills you’ll need Solid experience with the Wordpress platform Experience with PHP, Linux, Nginx, MySQL Good front-end skills Javascript, HMTL, CSS Experience working with Third Party API’s Bonus skills Server administration Asana, Trello, JIRA etc Cloudflare What you’ll be doing This is an exciting opportunity to join a fun, progressive digital business within the gaming sector. You will maintain all existing websites and help with the creation of any new websites. You will develop new plugins and themes for Wordpress and maintain all the documentation for system and processes. As well as development, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers and meeting with stakeholders so good communication skills are key. You will show passion for tech (and ideally gaming) and will keep up to date with modern web technologies.
