Credit Controller

Credit Controller Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, our client is seeking a Credit Controller to join their busy team on a permanent basis. This job would suit an experienced Credit Controller who will be responsible for chasing outstanding invoices and play a vital role in the cashflow ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled effectively. This reputable company has had such a strong presence, not only locally but on an international scale and they are entering a really interesting period. The successful individual will have a minimum of two years' experience in a credit control role with good numeracy and analytical skills. SAP experience is highly desirable. You will be self-motivated and able to multi-task and constantly reappraise timescales with priorities. The candidate should have effective communication and organisational skills with the ability to achieve targets whilst maintaining accuracy. This is suited for a confident and personable individual committed to high professional standards with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and achieve cooperation. Duties will include: Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices Working to strict monthly and annually collections targets Ensure efficient month end processes.
