Overview
Tactical Buyer - Worksop - £25,000 - £28,000 Chase & Holland are currently recruiting for a global market leading business based in Worksop who are looking for a Tactical Buyer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. Tactical Buyer Responsibilities: Responsible for the tactical procurement activities focusing on supply chain management and cost reduction Manage purchasing process for important/critical local purchases for the business Assess, lead and implement ways to increase overall process efficiency Decide independently on tactical purchase orders for the assigned facility Be a point of escalation for the team on issues/queries relating to categorised contract Ensure all corporate policies, standards and agreed P2P processes are adhered to by the team, rectifying non-conformance as appropriate Product/Service negotiation with suppliers, including use of online negotiation tools Review and monitor non-compliance within contractual agreements Responsible for supplier management Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm (30 min lunch) Required Skills & Experience: You must have strong communication and negotiation skills, with an understanding of procurement/sourcing processes and operations 3 year experience working as a Buyer Experience of working in a busy Customer Procurement/Finance environment You must have the confidence to make sound recommendations to the client and must be fully experienced with running a tender Ability to motivate a team to deliver against service levels In Return You’ll Receive: 25 days annual leave 8 bank holidays CIPS study support & development Pension scheme Free onsite parking If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Tactical Buyer opportunity, please click 'apply now’.
