Overview

If you’re passionate about social welfare, and particularly about helping support those facing severe disadvantage to find their feet again, through work, home, and peer support, then you are going to love this job. Taking the lead on a portfolio currently generating over £2.5 million, with aims to grow this further, you will be in the pivotal role to secure six-figure support from a range of statutory sources. You’ll be driving forward the many contributors across the organisation, sometimes involved in writing the proposals, and other times steering decision making and project management. This is a truly collaborative role, which needs a confident and empowering person to bring together an exciting portfolio of funding opportunities. You will need proven experience leading on the development and securing of large fundraising bids, and the ability to effectively support, develop, oversee, and advise on delivering high quality proposals that continue to build on the current portfolio. Statutory Fundraising Manager Full Time Permanent (37 Hours Per Week) London £35,000 - £40,000 p.a. dependent on skills and experience 30 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays Key responsibilities of the role will include: Lead on the development and growth of statutory fundraising Planning and leading proposal development meetings with the senior team and front-line managers Project manage statutory bids, keeping all stakeholders on track, providing insight, and ensuring the submission of high-quality bids Line management of a Bids and Mentoring Coordinator Research and identify potential statutory funding opportunities Writing, editing, and revising proposals over £50k with an emphasis on six-figure opportunities Ensuring accurate and detailed use of the CRM to manage all information Providing insight and updates to SMT, along with strategic recommendations and briefings The ideal candidate for this role will: Be an experienced fundraiser with a track record of generating significant income Have experience of successful six-figure proposal writing Be an excellent writer with high quality assurance skills, and a sharp attention to detail Be a strong researcher, with a good awareness around key statutory income sources Be able to support, develop, collaborate, and challenge others to produce the highest possible quality proposals Have a high level of understanding and empathy surrounding the complex issues the charity deals with Work in a collaborative and consultative way, and be a proactive team member Be confident communicating across a diverse range of stakeholders To register your interest and for more information please send your CV in the first instance.
