A well established and reputable 6 Partner accountancy practice in Croydon, Surrey is looking for a career driven Semi Senior Accountant to join their firm. I have met this client in their office, which is an air-conditioned building with a walking distance to the train station. You will be working in a team of 20 people reporting to Accounts Manager with an attractive study support package. This is a progressive role with the opportunity to grow onto a Senior Accountant in the near future. Key tasks and responsibilities of Semi Senior Accountant: Preparation of year end (statutory) accounts up to a final draft Preparation of corporate tax computation Personal tax returns VAT returns Preparation of Management Accounts Assisting on Audits Direct contact with the clients Candidates Profile: Minimum 1-year accountancy practice experience Good working knowledge of Sage, cloud-based accounting systems and Excel Attention to details Great communication skills Benefits of the Semi Senior Accountant role: Study support to complete your ACCA/AAT qualifications (before each exam you will get a paid week off to study towards your exam) Mentorship Working half day Friday Working in a prestigious practice in Surrey £30,000 - £35,000 salary This is a unique opportunity to take your career to the next level, especially with the study support and experience they provide.
