Senior Mechanical Engineer London £45,000-£55,000 Are you a passionate Senior Mechanical Engineer and looking for an exciting new role? Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in London working as part of their M&E team. This role will be involved in a variety of mechanical engineering roles, including detailed design of HVAC, hot and cold water services for office fit outs and also further involves boiler room replacements. The role also requires the engineer to carry out condition surveys on existing plant rooms and gas installations, producing scope of works and carrying out contract admin duties Principle Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Engineer:- Representing my Client at meetings with Clients and Contractors. Take a leading role in the design and inspection team managing a wide range of residential boiler replacement and commercial fit out schemes. Develop and present project design proposals to a client following the external brief and internal discussions so that client requirements are met, acting as either lead internal consultant or as member of a team. Contract administration duties associated with gas service contracts and central heating/boiler replacement programmes. Carrying out quality audits and pre/post inspection services for works associated with gas service contracts and central heating/boiler replacement programmes. Prepare, ready for tender, specifications, designs, drawings, equipment schedules and contract documentation. Person specification:- Minimum HNC/HND in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering Must have excellent decision-making skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations head on BEng / BSC in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit A high level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft office to include Microsoft Excel Be able to prioritise, plan and organise workloads whilst in a busy environment Good communication and inter personnel skills Team player This is a full time permanent Senior Mechanical Engineer position, Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00, offering an annual salary of £45,000-£55,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
