BEDFORD OPEN DOOR - JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Data & IT Co-ordinator Reporting to: Operations Manager Hours of work: 25 hours per week Salary: £27,834 pa (pro rata based on 37.5 hour week) Contract: Part Time Permanent Holidays: 28 days pro rata including Bank Holidays (pro rata) Purpose of the post The purpose of the role is to lead on the collection, management, analysis, and dissemination of data to ensure that Bedford Open Door can evidence our impact both internally and externally. To produce accurate and GDPR compliant data selections from an Access database, manage the data flow, provide support to the administration team and to support the managers by producing reports, KPIs and analytics. To review existing systems, identify potential weaknesses and help create and implement new systems/processes to improve the database and other associated IT/data management systems to increase efficiency and meet the needs of the organisation To take the lead in the development, maintenance and smooth running of the organisation's databases and associated applications and systems. To implement and manage projects to improve the use of the database, data cleanliness, and import/export procedures. To oversee the production of required monitoring and evaluation processes and systems to enable production of necessary statistical reports, outlining progress against KPIs, outcomes and impacts set both externally and internally. To undertake required data segmentation, reporting and data insights, working with relevant colleagues across the organisation. To support on research projects, both quantitative and qualitative, that evidence the impacts of the charity. To be the first point of contact in the team for all data, reporting and IT queries. To be the key point of contact for IT/Data related contractors. To develop and maintain accurate systems, hard-copy and digital filing and shared drive systems. To make sure our processes and procedures for data management and storage are robust, ensure the confidentiality is maintained and all systems are in line with GDPR and other legal/quality standards. To ensure the quality and currency of database records and provide training and support for database users in the organisation. To support the Operations Manager with the maintenance of accurate financial reporting for the purposes of the Board. To attend and actively participate in line management (supervision and appraisal), relevant internal meetings and training sessions.
