THE COMPANY Our client is a high-net-worth entrepreneur based in the North-West of England with a portfolio of diverse businesses in the UK and Europe spanning energy, yacht charter, app development and property. There are a number of high profile and exciting projects currently at launch stage in sectors including travel and recruitment. THE ROLE Within the group is a software house developing a series of story-linked action games with the ultimate goal of creating an online virtual universe. Following the successful launch of their first sci-fi survival game they are now working on the follow-up, ready for launch in late-2020. We are looking for a GAMES DEVELOPER to report into and support the Principal Project Manager on this new game, and future work beyond. THE REQUIREMENTS We are looking for a UE4 generalist with 2 years’ experience in a similar role Specifically the successful candidate will have played an integral role in launching a game on Steam Strong exposure to UI design Good understanding of multi-player systems and experience in 3D modelling You should be able to provide a portfolio of your work and be able to talk through your design process.
