A large food manufacturer are actively recruiting for a Junior NPD Technologist , Reporting into the Senior NPD Technologist you'll support the development of new products based on market trends. You'll have a passion for food, with a degree or HND in food science or nutrition. Commutable from: Worcester, Alcester, Evesham, Stratford Upon Avon, Cheltenham, Birmingham Salary: £ 20,000 p.a. - £ 24,000 p.a. Holiday other company benefits The Role of Junior NPD Technologist: Deliver NPD projects and also recommend opportunities for product quality improvements as well as cost reductions Managed product development projects from product brief to factory handover and ensure these hit the agreed milestones Run pilot production trials, working closely with the production team for NPD, analysing trial data Create and agree raw material technical specifications, also arrange analysis of raw materials and finished products Keep in regular contact with key suppliers to build more added-value and strengthen the relationship The ideal Junior NPD Technologist: Ideally degree qualified in food, nutrition or a science-based subject Experience in a food and/or drink product quality development or NPD (new product development) role A driven customer focused individual who is dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers A strong team player who can prioritise projects and tasks To apply Junior NPD Technologist please forward an up to date copy of your CV to James Randall or call 01789 201040.
