Overview
Vargo are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a fast growing Business Services Finance team in Cardiff. Reporting to the UK Finance Lead, this is a highly commercial role working with all levels of management to executive level. The role will provide decision support, analysing financial data and producing financial reports to drive profitable business growth. Critical in analysing revenue performance, the successful candidate will be expected to provide weekly and monthly forecasts, review expenditure performance with Senior Management across all functions and compile budgets and forecasts. The role will be a key liaison between the business and central Finance and Accounting teams in the UK and worldwide, especially for month end close support, review of statutory financial accounts and reporting meet requirements for tax accounting and internal audit/compliance. Qualifications/Experience Finalist/qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or experienced finance business partner. Highly numerate and excellent attention to detail Worked in multi-functional commercial Team. Advanced Excel skills A proactive influencer, problem solver to drive problem resolution Ability to simply and effectively communicate complex financial data to a non-financial audience.
