Overview

Adecco Recruitment is currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, an Export Sales Administrator to work for a successful and growing organisation based in the Lancaster area. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave with a view to possible extension. The successful candidate will have a strong background within sales administration liaising with suppliers, sales team and export/shipping. Please apply now for immediate consideration Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities Monitors monthly sector targets. Report on monthly forecast for sales out and update sector leader on current/expected status for month. Monitors credits and report back to sector leader Manages order delivery stage including; - liaising with purchasing regarding stock and deliveries - liaising with transport regarding any specialist delivery requirements - requesting and managing call off schedules adding break down to OGL - liaise with accounts regarding customer accounts, deposit invoices, payments etc. Performs administrative sales duties, including emails phone calls, sample requests, quotations Keeps log of all open orders for sector - helps to keep track of anything waiting to go or anything that has gone past delivery date Prepares and reports on daily dispatch to all Sales Sectors team members Weekly huddles with management team for updates on current orders Backs-up team for any additional requirements they may have Understands and can up sell to maximise sales opportunities Key Performance Measures All export department orders are up to date on the system Reliability Time management skills Positive feedback from Directors and staff Skills, Experience & Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook Good time management skills Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
