Connect 2 Cleanrooms is looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated Planning Lead to facilitate the scheduling of Projects, Resources and Materials within our Operations department and to be the primary customer liaison throughout the Project delivery. The role of Planning Lead reports to the Operations Manager within the MCR Operations and Manufacturing team. Ensuring that customer focus and satisfaction is of primary importance, the Planning Lead will facilitate the oversight of a number of projects and the scheduling of the Installation and Validation resource at customer sites in the UK and overseas. This role will also support the logistics of materials, contractors and equipment whilst providing information to the engineers and customers on key project milestones. You should have a strong understanding of supply chain planning & forecasting principles plus experience / exposure to purchasing & logistics functions. You will have strong communication and negotiation skills and be well-versed in project management principles and practices. This is a customer facing role and therefore a key part of this role is managing the Project and the Clients expectations though frequent and excellent communication. A key goal for this role is to ensure a smooth transition from the sales handover of the project through the design, procurement process and then to installation aiming for maximum efficiency. Requirements Qualifications: * 5 GCSEs grades 9-4 /A* C including English & Maths * Relevant Project Management qualification such as Prince Experience: * Significant experience and achievement within a project planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment * Experience of working to tight deadlines * Experience of managing contractor schedules * Experience in logistics and supply chain management * Experience in Management of a small team * Creation of client project programmes * Delivering customer focused solutions Benefits We offer you a great place to work with a unique culture and a competitive salary.
