Overview
IT Systems Administrator - sysadmin, Windows Server, AD, linux / UNIX, hardware, software, security, applications / software - Carlisle - providing support and project work for a range of IT systems Joining a multidiscipline team you'll be tasked with the support, maintenance and ongoing improvement of large, multisite, IT infrastructure. With a split of systems and a mix of applications you will take on complex escalated issues but also be involved in the day to day support and continuous improvement of IT. With projects to move the infrastructure forwards you'll be moving your own skills on as well as contributing to the shaping of the IT landscape. Any relevant IT certification / training would be a bonus and ideal applicants will have support, build (and ideally a bit of design input) experience across most of the following - Windows Server Linux / UNIX environments Active Directory & Group Policy Patching & Security Desktop and Server hardware troubleshooting Application / Software support Application packaging (desirable) SCCM and Microsoft System Centre tools (desirable) Citrix remote access and thin clients (desirable) Basic PowerShell scripting (desirable) Office 365, SharePoint & One Drive (desirable) In return a salary of up to £35k is on offer with good benefits and future career progression on offer. The role requires some travel across the NE and also occasionally overnight This role is part of an on call rota providing out of hours remote support.
