Employment Law Solicitor - Newcastle Salary: Up to 40,000 (depending on PQE and star quality) The Company: Our client is a specialist in Employment Law, Family Law, Commercial and Civil Litigation, Commercial and Residential Property, and Wills, Probates Trusts, and is now looking for a vibrant Employment Law Solicitor to join their team. This is a fulltime position. The Role: As the successful candidate you will be directly involved in developing and growing the employment law offering with full support from the Head of Employment and the CEO You will be advising and supporting many different clients on a broad range of employment law matters. Essential Skills Requirements: Fully qualified solicitor of 2 PQE At least two (2) years hands-on technical experience of running a varied employment law caseload; A personable, confident and articulate communicator; Excellent interpersonal skills; Excellent client care skills and attitude; Must be able to build strong, valuable relationships with clients and third parties; Sound knowledge of all areas of law within the practice in order to refer appropriate clients and to work collaboratively with colleagues; Self-managing - able to comfortably run own caseload with a broad range of employment client matters; Must be able to achieve set targets and KPIs; Must be able to conduct own advocacy; Excellent planning and organisational skills; Able to up-sell, on-sell and cross-sell services; Attention to detail; Proficient in the use of IT, MS Office, MS Excel and CMS; Effective and confident networker and business developer.
