Production Planner

Production Planner Job ref: 62615 | £24,000 - £27,000 | South Central / South Coast UK The company We are seeking a talented individual to join an innovative, high-quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers and foodservice providers both in the UK and internationally. The job As Production Planner, you will be responsible for the planning of designated products for the food manufacturing unit. You will ensure that production levels meet customer demands – taking in to account sales orders and stock levels plus ensure raw materials meet planned promotions through accurate forecasting. You will also monitor the usage of raw materials each day, liaise closely with key stakeholders and Suppliers, lead daily stock meetings with the sales team, prepare accurate reports and analysis for senior management and ensure all spreadsheets are filled in accurately and kept up to date. Your experience This is an energetic and rewarding role which would suit a confident individual with previous production planning, supply chain planning or similar experience within a manufacturing environment - most ideally in the food industry. You will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical ability, strong communication skills plus possess proficiency in Excel. High attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and good problem-solving skills are also required. More details The Production Planner job is based in the South Central / South Coast UK region and is paying £24,000 - £27,000. The role also includes 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, employee discounts and discretionary bonus. The working hours are 7 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
