Food Production Technician

We are looking for a food production technician to join the team at our prestigious client near Winchester/ Andover Responsibilities • Cleaning of equipment after use & storing of items in a safe & correct manner • Reporting of equipment/ product defects immediately. • Assist in the removal & disposal of all factory waste via dedicated waste streams • Carry out adjustments & calibrations of machines within specified limits • Able to identify ancillary parts, their location & uses. • Maintain stocks of consumable parts • Assist in the movement of raw materials to the manufacturing areas and finished product to warehouse areas • Support other Production areas to cover absence • Liaise with the Production Supervisors, reporting on progress, informing of issues. • Keeping the Production Supervisors aware of any shortfalls on raw materials to meet the plan and fully utilise the production equipment • Highlight required areas for improvement and liaise with other Department members to allow completion against set timescales. • Support Company goals by involvement within area improvement teams • Assist in identifying own training needs & items to improve Department performance • Participate fully in relevant training courses • Assist in skill transfer and generation of written procedures where appropriate c oach/train unskilled staff where required • Accurately enter the relevant information on required documents.
